Special Charity show for Northern Voices MN ! Northern Voices, a center for young children with hearing loss and their families, enables students to communicate through the use of listening and spoken language. Northern Voices was founded in 1999 by a group of parents who wanted to give their deaf and hard-of-hearing children a chance to talk. An innovative curriculum developed in the late 1970s and 1980s by Jean Moog, an internationally recognized leader in deaf education, is the key to our successful program. Northern Voices is the only nonprofit school in Minnesota offering children who are deaf and hard of hearing a program focused on listening and spoken language.
